I have always believed that true luxury is found in the freedom to be fully present. But I didn't learn that from a textbook; I learned it in the trenches.
At my daughter’s wedding, I was the planner, the financier, the caterer, and the designer. I was the one running from the reception setup to the bridal suite, trying to fix family drama while making sure the centerpieces didn't tilt. I was carrying the entire Atlas—the heavy, invisible weight of a thousand moving parts—and for a moment, I almost missed the Altar. I almost missed the very thing I was there to celebrate.
